  1. Preheat the grill to 375°F (medium-high)…or your cast iron skillet to sizzling hot.
  2. Sprinkle spices and sauce evenly across beef.
  3. Mix until they are just combined3
  4. Divide mixture into fourths → form patties
  5. Make indentation in the middle to prevent the bulging
  6. Cook a few minutes per side (depending on desired doneness). (You get one flip and one flip only.)

  1. @Dad always used the Worcestershire sauce, so I don't skip it. 1 lb. recipe for four patties.
  2. When the kids were just a little younger I did Hawaiian buns/mini sweet rolls and then make smaller patties for sliders.
  3. Be sure you don't overdo it with the mixing or your burgers may end up on the "tough" side.
